The South Beach Hostel of San Bartolo is located in one of the most traditional Seaside resorts of Lima, famous for its beautiful beaches, the hospitality of its dwellers, discotheques full of fun, delicious dishes in its restaurants, tourist attractions like the Boqueron and the celebration of traditional festive holidays all year round.
Among its touristic attractions we have: beautiful beaches, the Bufadero, the fisherman’s town and the jetty for small sea craft, the Nautical Club, Golf Club, Ultra Light Aircraft club, the Curayacu Club, the Hillocks.
The summer months are pure enjoyment, with spending the whole day on the beach and having lots of fun. Even in winter the temperature and cold is less than that of Lima. There is an incomparable peacefulness all year round.
Its festive days: the dwellers of the locality celebrate Easter, Saint Peter’s and Paul’s Day and Christmas with great devotion. Each 28th of July there is a school procession to celebrate Independence Day and New Year brings together a large crowd that fills San Bartolo with much fun and healthy entertainment. | | Directions | Take the Panamericana Sur Highway (South Panamerican Highway), turn into the former Panamericana Highway at the 48 km. marker, turn left and continue for approximately 1 km., go past the service station and turn towards the right by the arch entrance, to the beach resort of San Bartolo. Continue straight for 3 blocks until arrival at the Main avenue Mar Pacifico once here turn left keep going for five blocks (en route to the Curayacu Club), continue for 5 blocks the hostel is on your left.
